It's All Baby(ies)!

The continuously blooming baby bump is quite obvious now. These few photos were taken at 33 weeks, almost a month ago, but I haven't changed much since then.

Trying to squeeze into my pre-pregnancy jeans... It's hard to believe that I used to button and zip those!

I love this photo because it captures just how sweet my hubby has been - taking care of me and all. And of course how excited he is to meet his boys!

Aren't you just the most BEAUTIFUL-EST little pregnant girl in the WORLD!! Can't WAIT to meet the baby boys inside. Are there seriously TWO?!!

I love these, Rachelle! You'll be so glad someday that you took these. :) I'm with B - after meeting the babies I can't believe that they fit in there!

My Story

I was at a leadership conference taking notes of things I could apply to my job. And then it happened...the Lord nudged me. It was an out of the blue whisper about starting a family. He called me in the midst of good career (albeit, one I wasn't particularly enjoying at the time), gave me the desire to have children, allowed my husband and I to struggle to conceive for two years, and has since turned me into a stay-at-home mom of twin boys and a girl. Ten years ago if you'd have asked me where I saw myself 10 years from now, I'm confident this is not the story I would've shared! God gave me a mission and I'm so thankful that I responded to that nudge.

About Instilling Character

Instilling Character was born out of my need to be authentic. I want to share the day to day stories of the mission God gave me. I want to go beyond the highlights and into real life. What do I do all day, one might ask? I instill character into the hearts of my children. It is the intangible, unquantifiable, cumulative effect of all the small things that I do each day. And since I'm being real...it's the hardest work I've ever done. Character comes via the route of trials and tribulations and requires a boat load of endurance, but in the end, it's character that defines a person.
